For a Westie, she's actually quite big. But she's more awesome than your Retriever. Easier to clean :D
I'll take a pic of a dog too. Not mine because I'm allergic but my good friend just got a cute amstaff from his friend. They had some problems in the family and had to find another care taker. The name is Zina and it's a really wonderful dog.
They like to run through swamps and wooded areas and get covered in ticks, and mud, and dirt. When they do that, it is hard to clean them... and they smell.
My mother sprays perfume on them sometimes.
We don't let ours do that ;)
We don't let them, they just do it when we go walk around places, like big fields, with swamp around them.
It's good for a dog to run wild for a change, gives them a chance to vent.
After they've had their share of muddy fun they sleep like babies.
Vent their anger!
