Lordi didn't only make Finnish eurovision history by being the first Finnish group to make it into the finals in the modern eurovision format, but also the first Finnish group to ever win. As a finn this is enough, but how about we look at the score. It's the highest score ever received in the history of the contest. :59:
Their costumes weren't only for this show; it's how they've always performed. I've once seen them live about 4 years ago and I gotta say they're the one band you want to SEE rather than only listening to. Personally it takes my breath away everytime they get to the part where the Man spreads the wings.

Actually this was also the first time I could be arsed to even watch the competition.
Yeah England's group/song was quite lame. Apart from the winner, if the results had been up to me, top-5 would've looked very different.
