actually this has be done officially but not on a human...it was recently done on a male monkey were the womb was attached to the exterior of the monkey and the monkey underwent extreme surgery to accommodate the womb....but it was successful in all aspect...the managed to get an embryo alive and kickin but after a short while (3 months) it suddenly died so thats really how far they have gotten.
