Making a new domain would probably be seized within weeks or months by US government anyways. Bunch of fags.

Making a new domain would probably be seized within weeks or months by US government anyways. Bunch of fags.
Not if it's totally hosted offshore and not accessible for US IPs, however that domain that's supposed to be them is 99% sure not them
shut down all files hosting and let us host our files ourself.. xP
We're going to end up sharing files by trading usb sticks
Why is it only megaupload? ..
It's not.
i think for now mediafire is a win.
I don't know what would be an alternative for megaupload.
what the fuck? How can the government be able to do this? Control the Internet?
Pretty fucked how he's denied bail.
Im trying to help, so we can get back the most popular sharing site 'MegaUpload' because some of my friends that it will come back soon.
Im wondering to make a thread about this but not pretty sure if this is right so Im going to post here about it.
MegaUpload was shut-down a week ago but people are spreading about it that there's a new site for them.
Where's the link? Here -> http://www.meegaupload.net/

Got this quote from an email someone sent me.Quote:
I think we need to take a few compelling aspects of the Megaupload scenario into consideration:
- They had received content takedown orders in the USA and did not comply...
- The FBI/police agencies involved claim to have highly incriminating communications between management execs that expose their knowledge of what they doing...
- Kim Dotcom himself is apprehended with multiple passports under multiple aliases...
Now whether what they were doing is illegal or not when they have all spent their $millions on lawyers, is yet to be seen. Will the FBI etc be able to substantiate the evidence they have presented so far? Up to the courts to decide.
However: Not complying with the content takedown notices is not a career or business enhancing move when you have US based operations and assets, and live in a country with a pretty functional extradition agreement...
Should the FBI be able to prove the authenticity of their incriminating evidence, then the Megaupload guys will have some pretty serious challenges.
....
If you have a cloud storage and distribution business with a similar business model and practices as are alleged the Megaupload business has, then yes you could begin sweating - or at least start to promptly comply with court issues content takedown notices.
The scenario and alleged offences here is far more complex than just being a repository for the content. It is alleged that the business model was devised and executed to enable and entice/incentivise the alleged infringements.
As a cloud storage provider you are not required to know the nature of all content on your servers, but when you do get a court issued takedown notice, you are required to act on that.
Not acting on those notices is like waving the red flag and just waiting around for the bull to arrive...?
mad, very archives erazed
megaupload was my best site that i used :(
Wonder how the Feds got the chat logs of the team? Feds: We obtained MegaUpload conversations with search warrant | Media Maverick - CNET News they planted a trojan on the staff computers.
This is unacceptable.. Shut down racist sites instead.
Tell me about it. I call you a black cunt, I'm the most evil man in the world. You call me a white cunt, I'm a white cunt.
I'm telling you, we are paying for the indiscretions of our ancestors. If those faggots hadn't been as racist, we wouldn't have to be so sensitive on the matter at this point.
