    Mind control o.0

No this isn't fake...I got it of BBC....ok possibly conspiracy but not fake......JUST READ!!!

    argue with me later.

BBC NEWS | Health | Brain sensor allows mind-control

PS. Does anyone else think that this seems like a step towards a "Ghost in the Shell" style future?

Fake. Did you see how simplistic the "sensor" was? Sounds like something out of a movie.

It could mean people that have a damaged nervouse system or "missing" limbs to gain movement and to live better lives (in most cases), though this won't happen for many years.

I know what a proccessor is.......

That had nothing to do with what i was talking about how irrelevant.

This has to be fake, or at least some sort of poor joke...

Oh now i see what you mean Yeah i guess your right - but the brain is complex and this image makes out its as simple as plug and play...

It would be nice if it was true though.

yeah because a single article on a news webpage can sum up the entire system in a few paragraphs

    great thinking!

1: they're not going to give every detail about how the chip works because the idea can still be stolen and copyrighted before they finish it.

2: The ordinary person is not going to understand exaclty how it works anyway so why give too many details.

    3: what ex said.

oh and i disagree with that idea of a computer processor being the most vital component on a computer... everything is vital if you need it to use the computer tbh :)

Something like this has already been done, but it was more input than output.

FFB you dont know what your talking about, i suggest you shut up before you look like an idiot tbh.

I'd like to go into cybentics once ive finished my uni course tbh, looks like a nice complex field of research and one that will really further mankind 0o

Just think soon we will have extra senses like infrared vision and being able to comunicate wirelessly with a pc and with each other. Instead of txting each other we could interface with eachother virtualy using avatars like in games. Next stop the matrix :D cant w8 :p

if it interacts directly with our brains wouldn't we die or suffer a major brain damage if something goes wrong?
couldn't someone exploit this and kill people wearing these things aswell?

anything can be exploited, a knife is a cullinary tool, it can also be a murder weapon, a car is a device for assisting someone from getting from a to b, it can also kill.

People will exploit what ever they can, where ever they can, purly because they can.
