yes The US was trying to get to the Moon before Russia because they made it to space first. So yes I do believe it was a good feat, not to mention all of the recent movies about Mars :p
I think mars would realy be a step for man kind since its a new planet the moon is just a satelite ><
And mars is so far away compare to the moon. Hope im still alive when they reach mars ;)
