MentaL, if you really can't keep RZ up I suggest you just leave it behind. all good things come to a end, and it's been brilliant, but if you're really struggliing to keep it going, and you have been for a while.. then the only thing i can suggest is ti leave it to go.. Unless you can find ways of getting the funds, and you can offord it and all.. OR people are willing to donate.
I'm skint as ever atm, so I can't donate a penny really as I need all I can get.

searched alot for other forums, but they just arent so clear / easy on the eyes as RZ is ;)
This is what happens when something becomes too big for its britches. The britches are falling apart, have been for a long good time.
Accept the fact that 90% of the members here are leaching off yah and don't care about ragezone one bit, and either shut it down or get rid of those people. Obviously, having all these people on board must not be helping to fund this place, so besides that whats the point in housing such ingnorant types?
Tbh you should just cut certain boards, Yeah some people may use them but they are just novelty's now, I'm sure they would rather have Ragezone than a board they rarely use

I think people Need more Information mental - Make a Thread with the following Infomation:
1. How much Each month does it cost to pay for the Server to Host this forum
2. Have you paid for a Lifetime VB Licence or a Yearly one (as this was the problem last time)
3. What is the size of the Database Holding the Forum
4. How much Bandwidth per month do you get through on FORUM alone
5. What else are you running on this server - i.e. IRC, Teamspeak and so forth.
6. If DB in 3 is over 4 GIGS - why?? Maybe time to do a bit of forum admin and loose the junk posts or are you after Big Numbers on the bottom of the screen?
7. Why would a $7.95 Hosting plan with 4 GIG WebSpace and 100GIG month not suit this forum?? Is it because you have Other programs running such as IRC etc?
Each month (or there abouts) you come up with a "Ragezone is Dying" thread, people donate and it lives, until the next Problem. Why not publish who and how much people donated and where them funds went to - what guarantee do we have then the money sent to you will not end off in a Pint glass?
As said, the Server Dev sections are a waste of space, more of a Jumping off point if you will - forums dedicated to the game are 100x better - is the main focus of the forums General Chat?? What does RZ offer than anybody could not also offer apart from the number of account and people posting??
People are growing Tired of this "I cannot afford to keep RZ alive" - if you cannot afford it - close it down, its that simple..

I suggested private sevrers that have p2p optiosn donate/advertise here, because people spend stupid money on mmorpgs, I just wish they would on rage.
But first off get this man some money so he can take his misses out I know how that one feels ever since we had the baby here we havnt been able to afford to go out. :cry:
But i know this ide prefer to subscribe than to to let ragezone go down the pan.
can i donate with mastercard? and well, hard to imagine that out of 100 k users no one can donate, well maybe we just need a forum cleanup, like deleting sections that no one needs (maybe muOnline?)
this proofes that most of them are leachers / inactive users :(
