Just like I did with the new Battlestar Galactica, I picked up on the show right before the start of the 2nd season, though atleast with BSG I've managed to see every ep from the beginning thanks to re-runs, or DirectConnect downloads.
So, does anyone else watch it? I remember when I first saw it's commercials, and didn't really care about it, but now I always make sure I catch it when it shows on Tuesdays. I usually don't go for the dramas, but there are a few that catch my eye, and I'm as surprised as the next guy that I like it.
I like how there's always goriness in each show, with all the plastic surgery, but there's plenty of story to keep it going in between. It's like, there's alot going on, but not too much. Sometimes I'll pass by the living room during lunch to see a soap opera on that my mom's watching, and if I catch it for a few days in a row, I'll never see how these people even link up to the other people, like it's 3 or 4 different stories/groups of people put into one show. Friggin ridiculous, and don't get me started on the witches and blue space aliens I saw one time when I passed by... *shakes head* Soaps are bad, mmkay? They give you an altered sense of reality, which can perminently inhibit your ability to percieve other people. [/end Mr.Macky impression]
But yea, Nip/Tuck's a good show. I mean, I tried getting into "The Shield" but never really sticked with it. Though I might since it's starting up a new season, and seems more like "Die Hard" every time I see it's commercials.
So, uh.. Yea, Nip/Tuck. Hate it, or love it? Or any FX series for that matter... I deffinately like that one show with Denis Leary as a Firefighter for the main character. Stuck with that for awhile, but I don't see it that much now, I think it's starting up a new season like The Shield is though. Going to have to make sure I catch it.
