How so? The majority of Saudi Arabians are Muslim. He is a cleric of the Muslim faith, so theoretically, he is as representative as a priest of Christian faith. Anyways, don't hate the poster, hate the article. I thought it was rather funny how Mickey is Satanic.

I meant size as in population. The majority of the city is of the Muslim religion or Pakistani race.
You are taking it too far out of context. The "representative" stated this is what is in the Islamic law, and since Muslims are followers/a person who practices Islamic religion, it is safe to say they follow this. You don't live in this area. You'd be surprised how deep into their religion they are here. I've had the chance to talk to quite a few of them, because they work with my wife. They believe in the "book" rigorously, but not to the extremities of say... suicide bombers. What I stated was not entirely ignorant, although I can see how it could be taken as such. I also chose not to go to Tim Hortons because I just didn't want to risk it. It's hard as hell to see in that outfit and wouldn't be able to prepare myself if there was, by chance, an extremist. Also, I've already stated I would have been doing it to be silly. Unlike some people, I do enjoy being a fool sometimes, not caring what the public will think of me.

So, in Christianity, is it not true that if you don't believe in and accept Jesus as your savior, you are going to hell? In that same aspect, is it not safe to say that Muslims/Islamics believe mice are "corrupt agents of Satan"? I'm not talking about the extremity of Mickey Mouse, I am referring to mice.
Uh, how is it fair to compare the defining tenet of Christianity to some obscure minor aspect of Islam? The answer is still no, it is not 'safe' to say Muslims believe that mice are agents of Satan any more than it's 'safe' to say that Christians believe you shouldn't wear clothing made from more than one kind of material (Leviticus 19:19). It completely blows my mind that you can think the ramblings of one radical Cleric in Saudi Arabia are somehow representative of the billion or so Muslims all over the world. Seriously mate, what the fuck?
