Hello, today i put my first tattoo, and its on my neck on the right.
Its not finished yet, next week ima finish it with other things on it, its a lip / kiss, and my name and the date i am born.

Anyhoo, aside from it looking crap imo, that is 1 bad location. While I do think people should do what they want, the fact is that you will get discriminated because of it, there are just certain locations that will not be acceptable in a lot of jobs, this being one of them.
Yep, you wouldn't want to go above your wrist line, or above an average collar line for a t-shirt.
Especially if you plan on enrolling into the service (army, etc), and for any job anyway.
BTW: Are you a girl or a guy? And why do you find your name so damn important that you'd tattoo it on your neck. I mean, wut?.. It's not even the name that's indulging it's the big DSLs on your neck.
