my new fetish the O.C

O.C it came , when i was but 13 , i rebuked as i usually would a show for the "fags" as i put it. I carried on oblivious to what it would do to me.

15, dumped by girlfriend on a monday , decided to watch O.C , intrested but still skeptic.
I watched the last few eps of season 3 nd scoffed at Marissa dieing. I was still O.k.

Season 4, i was intrested watched some eps, had other prioreties so i soon forgot about it.

Then it happened a friday night, single bored and alone. i turned on the t.v. there it was the final ep of O.C i hestinatly watched , skeptic at the start teary at the end.The show ended, the credits rolled but i wanted more.

So 4 months later approxiamtly , three seasons later, im re-watching it all over again in hope to pass time till season 4 comes out.

So chaps dont diss it till you've actualy sat down put your critiscm , cyniscm and general bad attitude on the side and appreciated for what the O.C really is. A show about the unbelievable stupid funny lives of made up teenagers that was meant to entertain and fufills that goal nicely.

It doesnt hurt and if your alone depressed or tired, it'l lift up your spirits , really.

Well just wanted to share that with you guys.

Well, try watching from episode one aye' , then maybe you can have some empathy for the character instead of having general labels for them, or the show etc. "sucks ass"

For the sake of less posts saying the show sucks. please state what seasons you think suck cos though i dont agree that much with this,season 3 and 4 didnt do it as well as their predaccesors.

so stating their suck really is pointing the obvious out, since only people who are true fans of the series appreciate those eps'.

Watch what you want to watch and don't get put off if other people have negative views about it. It can't be that rubbish if there's 4 seasons.

thats the only reason why i watch hollyoaks, i also watched a few random episodes and didnt really get into it.

Want reasoning? Here's why: EVERYTHING is dramatized. Its a show full of rich spoilt teens who do what they like. It doesn't depict anything in real life. All the "conflicts" involve something about which guy the slut slept with this week, and how the older women are trying to get the young guys too.

You steal my man, i'll steal yours, now i want mine back, but hes now in love with you - thats pretty much the storyline of every episode.

tv is dramatised , makes it intresting real life is to hard and risky to film. Though i agree, or would have agreed ,some poeple just don't liek the repetetive nature of the story and it does get repetetive after a while.

nd i think your making a slight generalisation on the plot lines they do have *some* variation Lolz.

I watched the OC at the beginning for a cpl episodes, but found it somewhat repitive and just got bored of it. I've found the only real program I actually have watched through and through like this is scrubs, a fantastic bit of genius imo.

I think the shows target audience was 14-18 year old girls not living in california.
