Yes the Chinese were poorly equipped AT FIRST, but later they were provided supplies and weapons by the Sovet Union and had an army of 700,000.
Yes the Soviet Union was involved, just indirecly and secretly. Had the Sovet Union not given supplies to China, the USA would've won.
