NASA has lost the original footage of man's first steps on the moon. Neil Armstrong's historic moment was seen by 600 million people in July 1969, but according to NASA the original tapes have been mislaid in their archives.

I also believe that, infact it's been debunked that they landed. Van Allen's to start off. Then the proof in the video and photographs. The fact that they said the flag was moving just cuz he rocked it had been debunked, because he's standing beside it and its still blowing.
Right when the rumor says they didn't land on the moon really starts to get big, they suddenly "lose" it. How does NASA "lose" something that historic? Load of bull if you ask me.
check the studio they taped it in. I bet they left copies there just in case they were lost.
They also said that the stars couldn't be picked up because of the ship's lights. That's not possible because there is no atmosphere on the moon. They still would have shown.

And this isn't the reason they gave for the lack of stars. The real reason is that the camera's exposure time was too fast to pick up any dim starlight. It had to be fast or the photographs would be too bright. remember there is no atmosphere to block the sun on the moon. Everything I have seen as far as "proof" for either argument has been debunked and then the debunk "proof" has been debunked...

The whole moon hoax theory is completely ridiculous even at its lowest levels. It was in the middle of the cold war. The Russians had spies everywhere. They knew exactly what the USA was and wasn't capable of and grabbed any opportunity they could find to discredit them. But they didn't make any fuss about this? Come on now.

For anyone who doubts we landed on the moon, watch the Mythbusters episode when they debunked the conspiracy theories on this. They did a hell of a job on it. :p

I was watching something about it where they said if they landed on the moon then the boosters from the shuttle would have blown away a lot of dirt on the surface and that he was moving way to fast.
So I don't really believe it either.

Mythbusters is nothing short of professional. They goof around on the show, but that is what makes it entertaining to watch. They still know their facts.
I mean more like a documentary quality, a little longer, more sources, and some people nasa people talking.

They're on a body 1/8th the gravity of our Earth. When they planted the flag, it rocks back and forth. It carries on rocking back and forth, because momentum works a lot more effeciently when you're on a world 1/8t the gravity of Earth.
Jump on the moon, it's going to take longer for you to hit the ground.
Throw a ball on the moon, it's going to take longer to hit the ground.
Pull a flexible pole back and let it swing side to side, it's going to take longer for it to stop than it would on Earth.
