New RaGEZONE vs Old RaGEZONE?
The title says all,
Which one you liked the most?
I want to know what all Ragezone users been thinking after the big change.
New RaGEZONE? or Old RaGEZONE? (Vbulletin 4)
for me I like the old one.
because its neat and clean.

No idea.. vb 3.8 wasn't too bad. This style needs some work and extra few plugins.. should be good to go.
Both are fine, this will just take a bit to get used to
vb4 is great, just need a better skin.

Yeah, I think Light blue on Vb 4 will make look a lot better.
I think the styling is not yet done, so it's not fair to judge now.
Reason for both.
Old:
- Old's default font was smaller at threads
- Old wasn't so "colorful" and it was good for eyes
- Old has been "too long" that it's normal when you come into RZ and you see same style here
New:
- It's great to see something new
- It's good to be updated with VBulletin
- This is good at its own style
This new one is awesome! The security is improved, and I think the whole feel of the forum has updated bringing a fresher feel :)
I like the old because I am used to it,but this one ins't bad at all ;)

There is no doubt most of you are used to the old RageZone , but fact is both are the same software , except this one is newer and better. It's like you would make a poll on Windows Xp and Windows 7 , after you got 8 years of experience with Windows Xp.
There is a few things I would change on the template though , including centering the avatars , cause mine is kind of to the Left.
Also the old template most probably wasn't compatible with this version , that's why he changed.
He's still busy setting it up, guessing he went to sleep, so good chance that with the second round of updates that it will be done.Originally Posted by Rishwin
I like the new one better, but it's still a bit rough around the edges, as expected. I'm also not a big fan of the red. It doesn't blend in with the rest of the site all that well - it's overly distracting.

That's pretty much the exact reason I want the old skin back, doesn't fit right on my screen and feels weird.
vBulletin 4 is cool but I think we should try and convert the old theme if we can, or find a better one ^^
vb4 is so much better, just need to get used to it :P
The "new" ragezone isn't finished yet.
It's ok I guess, I never like changes so that's why I voted the old ragezone :) The skin itself it's nice, but if I had to choose between old ragezone (which I've been used to) I would definitely bring the old one back
The old some sucked, but this one is just as bad. Poorly arranged, ugly colors, everything in boxes with borders, transitions and curved borders everywhere, avatar align, unnecessarily huge header part, small padding, way too small fonts and big ass icons on the main page... and that red? In combination with that greenish header background.. bleh. This skin is soo sooooo outdated.
Hope it's not the final one.

I like this one better, as Becca said it has improved security, not to mention that I hated with the old forum that when you typed in the quick-reply box and thought you had typed loads, you had typed hardly anything because the quick-reply box wasn't as big as how big it is when the posts are posted. (If you get what I mean, if you don't then I don't blame you, it's a hard thing to understand, not to mention that I can't put words together since I'm so tired) But yes, either way I liked vBulletin 3.8 and I like vBulletin 4.
The theme isn't that bad imo, once he has time to customize what he needs to then it'll all look well, I'm only assuming. So on the topic of this vs that, I'll have to say that I'm a fan of this theme, over the previous one.
There's just one handy dandy plugin that I'm missing so badly right now =[

I don't really like this theme and because of that old ragezone was 100x better :D
As MentaL said, the style/theme needs to be fixed, so I think this may be a temporary one.
