New Section?

I was just thinking, what about a new section just for raving lunatics to rant about things? Yes they could go in spam, but some of them are good threads and actually have substance to them, but instead just get lost in the infinite piles of nonsense in this section.

A section without the flaming rule, so you can rant as much as you want about a certain subject, person, social practice, RaGEZONE member, or anything else that pisses you off and you just want to rant about it and see if anyone else feels the same way? Let people rant about other members if they did something to piss them off real bad? Let them settle it like real men instead of having a mod close it for clashing with the rules or being off topic? I could also be used as an actual archive for those good 'ol gang flame wars?

Just something was pissing me off and i had no idea where to rant about it. Some rants are put in the Outerworld, and some are put in Spamzilla. So i just thought, "Why not make a new section for them?".

I recall something like this being brought up before (a few times) and it wasn't approved, if it was ranting about a RZ member it could start into flame wars which would spread beyond that section.

But you see, thats the beauty of it. If you legalize flaming in that section, the flaming will then be contained to just that thread instead of spreading everywhere. Why flame everywhere and get banned when you can just flame in one area and its fine? Call it a 'Battle Arena' then? Maybe only for Alpha's and above?

Maybe have a list of things that cannot be discussed, like religion ect because they may affect allot of people? There will be rules, but just less strict ones to give people freedom to express anger without consequences?

I'm just throwing ideas out there, but ignoring the details which can obviously be changed, how do you feel about the actual section itself?

It seems like a well thought out idea but I think Dandune is right, it would eventually get out of control and/or spread throughout other sections as well.

Yea for sure. I mean the whole ranting about other members was just one of the things that i was suggesting, but i spose it would be hard to mod all the flaming.

I just noticed that in general there are either allot of angry people here, or allot of things happen that make people angry. If they want to make a thread about it instead of putting it in the Outerworld and having replies like "lol... kayz..." then a new section seems to be the way to go.

Rant about the way some TV shows make you feel? Rant about how pissed off the government makes you cos of a new law it's passed? Rant about how your parents are being unfair to you? Rant about how unfair school is?

Rant about whatever you want, and others can share their experiences too. Helps everyone i reckon.

There will be rules, but i think the Flaming rule, although i don't expect it to be removed, should at least be given a bit of slack in this area; it is after-all full of crazy angry people who just need to let off some steam.

Exactly what was on my mind. Go easy on the flaming rule but when it gets too vulgar and obscene - it's time to set it down. Whatever it is - should happen in the true spirit.
