the best thing about all this is that all Bush's recent decisions regarding Iran have been "fast tracked"
so basically bush is now openly and plainly running a dictatorship

His second term was basically a dictatorship from the start. Its now so obvious that the retards who dont know anything about whats going on around them can see it. And thats why I'm scared in McCain becomes president. It will be like Bush's third term. So hopefully America can get over it's racism and see Barrack Obama as the good candidate that he is and not as the "black man".
whoever gets elected the government always gets in, i fear the end result will always be the same :(
look what happens when people like JFK rock the boat
I don't know whether to laugh or cry at what you just wrote...
First off if you are going to make such wild accusations of calling Bush a dictator be ready to back it up with several sources of multiple incidents. As far as I know, George W Bush only used his emergency response power once in his entire presidency, and that was on the day of September 11, 2001.
With that said, the rest of his decisions had to go through congress and the senate. So it would be impossible for any president to run a dictatorship like that. We specifically set up the system of checks and balances to ensure no president will ever become a dictator. Oh by the way, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan were confirmed by both the senate and the congress.
Also, few people in the United States wont for Barack Obama simply because he is half black. The reason he is not doing good in recent polls is because he is an idiot. To be perfectly honest, Barack Obama is a far left liberal with intentions to destroy the conservative/moderate lifestyle and turn America into a socialist nation.
@Akaruz
While some of the private funds may be as the article said private money being sent by foreign immigrant workers home to there family. I still think there is a decent amount of the 93.2 billion that is legibly collect by private organizations such as churches, universities, foundations, and other corporations.
If you note the footer of the graph I provided states "Private funding includes, foundations, corporations, private and voluntary organizations, colleges and universities, religious organizations, and individual remittances."
Oh yes that i agree with you , but eheh just dont throw it up into this discussion ;) cos eheh me and you actually went a little off topic ;) and i dont wanna put the charts from iraq afeghan ethipioa charts
but yes there are things that actually are done correct but its like a drop in the ocean unfortunately
Like it or not , for example i can tell you i do not agree with the aid when in the country of origin ( giving the aid ) there are people who also needs it , thats why i always say 1st our house and backyard , then we can help the others
I honestly hate the US government altogether, how can they allow 18, 19, 20 year olds to go to war but they don't let them drink alcohol, it just makes no sense to me at all.
Please , well i do agree with the no alcohol :P it would make things worse eheheh
But simple as this
At 18 you're so stupid and wanting to be a MAN that you sign for anything without reading whats infront of you
At 18 you're already stupid and drool when you see a pair of tits and you just wanna jump , with alcohol it would be worse.
War or Not going to the Army its actually a good thing on the sense as you will have something to do with your life and learn how to act ( at least you should do )
For example a long long time ago , in Portugal at the age of 18 ( just before you going to university ) you would need to go to the Army for like 6 months - it was mandatory , while some complained and other didnt , i can assure you that 90% of the people who actually went or were called didnt had any future or wouldnt go to the university ( if someone who had never failed in classes and had a bright future would skip the Army - except the ones that would go to medicine - but alas , i found its fair , it would improve their skills in the end )
For the alcohol - any kid over the 16 years mark is allowed to drink and buy cigarretes , BUT only at 18 you're intitled to get a driving licence ( except if you have permission from your father but that rarely happens - Parents giving you the Emancipation )
In the Past i wouldnt agree with this , but nowadays looking to 16 kids getting hammered and doing shit , i should say people should actually only DRINK at 18 unless they're doing it in their homes
But back to topic - You Also need to see that the US and Israel to name only those 2 have a strong army "history" ( thats not the correct word ) and their kids do need to go to the Army , jesus Any Israelly that lives outside Israel need to do the Army time in Israel if they dont , they will be jailed if in the future they travel to Israel - If I'm not Mistaken Rsx had that problem , not sure if he actually did it in the US or went to Israel )
Call it Serving your Country and protecting it ( I do agree with this actually BUT ofc if its in your Country not going 5000km far to a country you dont even know where the fuck it is , if i used a Globe and asked to point the Country he was going )
Yeah but allowing the 18/19/20 year olds to go to war is just stupid in my opinion, you're putting them into a situation that alot of people can't comprehend, it's just stupid how the government allows people to kill other people and allows them to get put into the situation in the first place, if the government doesn't allow something like alcohol then I just don't see how they can put you into the situation on the combat front, I do agree with training and gaining an education through the army but sending them off to fight in a war is completely different in my opinion.
I dont feel sorry for the people in the war.
They signed up for the army
They are doing their job
They die from war, they died doing what they wanted.
No one is forced in U.S.A to go into the Army.
If war it is, War it is.
You sure ? they arent forced - I mean dont they have a mandatory quota to be filled in ?
P.s.: They signed up for the army not for a war ;) , and ppl should only go to war After getting Training , not 6months and a kick in the ass and alas Foreign Country here I am , I'm Fracking Rambo
And believe me when you dying in a war , i bet with you they would want to be doing something else , unless they die fast and dont suffer ;)
the saddest thing is ever person ive spoken to that has served tells me the same story
when you are fighting, you arent fighting for your country, for your government or for the people you are supposed to be liberating
you are fighting for your life and the lives of your friends on the battle field. so while young men fight for their lives in whatever sorry place they are sent to, men in suits co-ordinate where and when they will fight
everyone i know who joined the military joined to earn a living or because they fealt there were no prospects for them getting a "dead end" job. no one signs up to fight for their country and no one signed up to go kill people.
Agreed with what exy said, it's the same with the previous wars with conscription, why don't the politicians and other government figures who actually vote for things such as conscription during WWII, I say let make half the politicians that voted for it to go fight aswell, instead they just toyed with other men's lives, thank God they banned it in Australia in 1972.
If there is a mandatory quota in the US it is being greater surplussed. You will be surprised how many people volunteer for the army, navy, air force, and marine core.
On Topic: Dunno if anyone has been following the news this morning, but a rumor surfaced that Israel will be launching a massive air strike against Iran in the next 12 months if they continue their uranium enrichment.
Iran basically responded with a threat to halt all oil going through the Strait of Hormuz, thats 40% of all the oil in world passes through there.
http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/middl.../hormuz_80.jpg
Things are looking worse and worse everyday...
well they can pass near the Emirates ;) ;:P just cant get in hte middle or some Iran cruiser will appear eheh
But ya expect the Oil price to increase
The day that a normal mob will get out to the streets and start riotting , the Governments will see the shit they made
Each time the prices of Oil rise , the food and other items will also increase
P.s.: ya i know ppl do join the Army , jesus i would do the same shit if i has younger :P actually it would had saved me from some problems , i would had money in the end of the month and would be having decent healthcare etc etc
Very true.Quote:
1 mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter, we are all human and we are all the same mate. hopefully one day your mind will open up and you will accept and love this fact.
While you can draw a line sometimes for people who are insane and real terrorists, a lot of the supposed terrorists are no different from the US. Fact is that the US tries to "fix" problems with violence, these people do the same back, but they are called terrorists because the US is supposedly on the good side, so they must be on the bad side. If the US looses soldiers then they lost good soldiers, if the other side looses soldiers then it's good riddens.
This is the twisted world that we live in, fact is that a lot of these groups fight for what they believe, what is normal for us is different for them.
There is ofcourse nothing wrong to send help to countries, but it has to be help, they should decide what happens, instead they should help with what the majority of the people there wants, so that the decision doesn't come from any of the countries we live in, but from the people that live there.
