    Newspapers/Magazines

What ones do you read? I was reading The Sun the other day on a coach trip to college (an hour from Bristol to Bridgwater) and it dawned on me whilst reading some of the articles; who gives a fuck? I mean seriously, the front page was centered around some hooker who's claiming she had a three-some with David Beckham and every other week there's something new happening with Jordan (Katie Price), but who really gives a shit? So what do you read?

(I've mainly posted this thread to get recommendations)

Ergh I sometimes read The Scottish Sun, the Scottish NOTW, however I mainly read the Daily Record (another Scottish paper :P). I do however read some articles from The Telegraph on their iPod/iPhone app, which is pretty good and not as shit as the tabloid newspapers. The Herald is also a good read. Magazine-wise it's normally PC orientated magazines such as Custom PC and PC Format.

It's red-top'd papers. They're all full of bullshit. Read something proper like the Daily Mail or the Telegraph.

    *which
Your question would really depend on which country you currently reside in. I don't really touch newspaper now, I just subscribe to RSS feeds - mainly, Al Jazeera (since they have a HQ here at my country), BBC and CNN. I personally enjoy reading news articles (depending on what they are about). Like not a while ago, I received a new feed from BBC of a Stuxnet worm that hit personal computers for staff at the Iran Nuclear Plant - Original Link: BBC News - Stuxnet worm hits Iran nuclear plant staff computers .

The stuff you read is of no interest to me, perhaps more for bored gossip fags.

Are you serious? The Daily Mail barely even qualifies as journalism. It's a worthless rag filled to the brim with unadulterated bullshit, it's not considered 'proper' at all. The Telegraph is just a Tory mouthpiece.

OP, don't be a wanker, read the Guardian.

Aye, I usually read new articles online from sites like CNN and RSS feeds, but while I'm on the coach, I don't have much to do, so I usually grab a paper which my parents have bought (The Sun and South Wales Argus are my usual choices)... I've been told that the Daily Mail is rubbish before, so I think I'll give that a pass, I'll buy the Guardian for tomorrow and try that out.

I could do with reading more broadsheet newspapers tbh. I mainly read 'em for the sport anyways!
