"For the test the reactor was to be stabilised at 1,000MW prior to shutdown, however, due to operational error the power fell to about 30MW where the positive void coefficient became a problem. The operators tried to raise the power by freeing all the control rods manually and at 01:00hr on 26 April the reactor stabilised at 200MW."

On the russian web page there was written that it could be an error of operator or system either didn't want to operate that. dunno know what is right.

It's a restricted area, some places there are too dangerous to visit due to radiation. after explosion trees glowed red at night (I think), and if you would take a walk to a powerplant and back you would glow too :)

One girl took a journey on her bike to chernobyl city:

Yea its creepy but it would be fun to live there.. :) Lets build it up again.. :) Just we need a big plane to go there and ALOT of stuff for living.. :) Think if newpapers write RaGEZONE.COM people went to live in to old empty city and made it new one ;) Would rock.. I got nice fantasy :)

PS: Same stuff happened in Russia again.. I think it has happend in Russia many times.. I werent born when new nuclear plant blowed up.. I dont remember when it was but my dad sed that they heared it to estonia.. But that city was really far and the explosion was so hard that whole sky was light.. :S And the boom had to be so f... loud.. I would like to go and take photos in those places.. And it would rock i guess. :) But in this city people walk around with gasmasks and live there ..
