    Re: North Korea-- High Tensions

Biden is stupid? He said "God only knows"

I dont think its god because Biden and Obama are the only people that can change this war. Biden is acting like this shit just came out of the sky or something. Maybe if his son became Leader he can change North Korea forever, He speaks english so he sort of Adopted the western ideas. In a interview he said that he doesn't know anything and his father knows all.

EDIT: Anyone think Kim jung iL will end up like Saddam?

Yes kids, it sure ain't. Now shut-your-mouths. There is enough bombs held by different countries to blow the world; guaranteed nobody would want that. Point proven - no WW3. Don't be an idiot.

LoL lqstim, you have too much faith in humanity.
But, this will probably not be a trigger to WW3, N. Korea has been at this for years... with the missile tests etc. Only time will tell I guess, there is no better time for an attack really, with America's money spread as thin as their army.

Well, as usual, business grows and life goes on. If a nuclear war is to be executed, that would mean big holes in each contender's ass (bigger holes than your mothers') and a promised devastation; nobody wins. And, you are probably right, something else would probably provoke the war of sort but what is there to harbor? Presumably oil but they've been there and have done that. Besides, N korea's nuclear bombs are anachronistic, guaranteed it isn't as powerful as what the other countries have to-date if ever there is.

Basically, the US and the rest of the world is making the same mistakes that England made in Wold War II, and that is we are appeasing the country. It is only a matter of time before they build up an arsenal and it will be too late. Many war historians agree that if England and France were to have started a War with Germany before the Blitzkrieg, there would not have been a chance for the atrocities which unfolded during the coarse of the war.

    Nukes are old news.

I'd love to know what the weapons departments of the rich countries have come up with since.

I remembering hearing the tech we see is many generations older than what armys could actually use in a real war. I'd be shocked if microwave satellites aren't already in orbit just waiting a push of a button to vaporise people.

I'm just glad I don't live in a big city! :D London is so going to get owned in the first strike.

    Re: North Korea-- High Tensions

This game between North Korea, South Korea, China, Japan and the United States for a long time. We find ourselves (the United States) in a tricky situation as we rely heavier on China economically. China is North Korea's closes ally, and is the key to bringing N. Korea to it's knees.

As far as North Korea's nuclear program is concerned, I believe they are coming dangerously close to obtaining a nuclear deterrent. I think President Obama needs to take the threat more seriously, and use what diplomatic power we have to put pressure on China and Russia to pass sanctions. I believe that the recent UN security council resolution was a step in the right direction, and a step towards restarting six party talks.

I beg to differ. It allready is to late to change, once they started their nuclear programs we should have stepped in. Instead of adding them to the terrorism list, since they are allready a closed country, what is that really going to do!?

North Korea is a dumb ass. They should have taken the peace treaty with South Korea while they got the chance.

That's bad news,if we go into nuclear war,China will launch millions of missiles.North korea will do the same,United States will try to defend itself by launching 10 billion nuclear bombs. Then,Russia will help China and launch like 5 billion. Then,it's the end of the world.

Need I explain the Theory of Deterrance again? North Korea won't use them, they know te Allied forces would drop more nukes than North Korea could ever make. Old habits die hard, I guess.
