You do know that at the time of Bush's election, Congress was under Democratic control. Guess what? They all hate Bush. So what does that mean? Also if you want to pertition congress you need enough signatures on another pertition that they must get normal people to sign by a deadline. Now if they can't put enough effort into that by going door to door to peoples houses to get their signatures then serves them right.

What you need to realise is how the US governmnet works. To get a topic in Congress you need to get a petition to pass for it to be sent into Congress. To do that you need to get a certain number of signatures from normal every day Citizens. Then when you get enough it is sent to Congress. Then it's up to the people that are elected into office to voice the overal opion of each state. Then when they get enough votes it is sent to the President in many cases. If he accepts it he does. If he doesn't then it goes right back to Congress for a second vote on if it should pass or not. And if it passes a second time then it happens.

So now tell me how Democracy is messed up? It's one of the most suscessful types of govenments.

And one of the first steps would be setting up sanctions against it.

Imho sanctions on NorthKorea will just drive N.Korea to desperate measures.

what Bush is saying now is that NK should come back to six party talk and try to talk this out, and Bush made an offer to NK saying that US will provide NK with food if NK disbands Nuclear Projects and let US inspectors do "Thorough" search throughout NK...

North Korea is not that stupid ... Seriously.. What does North Korea have to back up US's fake promises and proposals if they've got no Nuclear Weapon...

Bush to even think that this offer was clever makes him a primitive human being if he is a human being.

I don't see why you should, the second they launch to the US, NK will be completely wiped out, if anyone will use a nuclear weapon, then it will be used against a enemy who can't retaliate much, and even then they very likely wouldn't, because you always kill lots of innocent lives with it, which will cause lots of aggression all over the world, and aggression causes the attacker to get bombed.

So there's no for sure way they can tell by just the sysmec graphs. You'll actually need to go down there with a gaicounter and check the radiation levels.

You are wrong about Bush wanting peace talks. He wants to set a naval blockcade and make the North Korean government suffer. It's the Chinese who are trying to have peace talks.

And you really think that the US makes fake promesises on aid? The US gives out more foreign aid then any other nation on the planet. Fake promesses? I think not. And it wasn't just the US. It is the UN. Big difference. And UN inspectors are not biased.

Russia and China was for 40 years. And so has N Korea has been up to this day.

ONly the US has to worry? Funny. Last time I looked, Norh Korea had no way of being able to attack the US. Their longest rang missile wont even make it to the US.

Right now it's S Korea and Japan who has to worry. North and South Korea are still at war and not ot mention N Korea hates Japan with a passion. So arn't they the ones that should be worrying as they are in attacking range of N Korea?

It would be funny to see that happen. By the time N Korea's nuke spashes down in the middle of the Pacific Ocean it would have been nuked by the US who has Nukes in both S Korea and Japan.

Quite funny. Though the US wouldn't use a nuke. They'll just bomb the hell out of everything. I just wonder just how big of a force would they use.

Nor can they even be sure. The need to test them to see and all the ones they test haven't been able to.

All of the reports that I've read have said they landed in the middle of the Pacific.

If it happen to have landed on US soil then N. Korea wouldn't even have had the chance to test a nuke. If a missile landed on US soil the nation would see it as a act of hostility on their soil. Which will result in them having a perfect chance to invade N Korea without any opposistion as they would have the full backing of NATO. If a NATO nation gets attacked then the fellow NATO nations are required to aid them in any act upon the attackers. Which would be a full war.

The peace talk was prior to naval blockade talk. Fake promises could be made, do you really think US going through all of this fucking shit will forgive NK? after it dismantles its nuclear weapons and disbandon its nuclear project? Do you seriously think that U.S. has anything to worry about once they find out that NK doesn't have shit or have NK dismantle Nuclear weapons?

Quick Question to your second part of the argument: Does US give out helps to countries that have nuclear weapon and is threatning the well being of its citizens?

Second Question: Other than Japan and US who do you think really wants this talk badly? China? I don't think chinese can give less attention about this current issue knowing how they want NK to stay as a buffer zone for US troops in South Korea. (if war was ever to break out between them, they hope that it'll happen outside its territory and carried out in South & North Korea)

NK does not posses the knowledge or the technology to make a nuclear missile that could be launched to U.S. Their longest missile would not reach U.S. (secondly they don't have the knowledge to put it in as a form of warhead for long range missiles)

Democracy could be criticized in many ways for how it is ran by politicians but it is idealy a good form of regime. It is considered to be one of the better form of regime that has appeared throughout history of mankind. Its ideal is good and its real life application isn't all that bad either. (Idealy communism wouldn't be all that bad if it wasn't for human nature of wanting more and how the motivation is derived + corruption within the system)

I'll say the same I said to nopeace in a more educated form. No one knows exactly how powerfull a country's weapons are (not even that country's people) so you can't exclude the possibility that NK is a nuclear threat to the US.

Every regime works. But democracy is one of the biggest failures of the world. The power is never with the people but those who are greedy enough to have it. With the perfect conditions the utopia would be anarchy.

North Korea is a threat to the United states because it is doing nuclear research and appearently has tested a nuclear bomb. No matter what you say it is a threat to the United States. Everyone has based their opinion upon the July's missile test on the Japanese Sea; that n.korea has poor/outdated technology.
Ever think that they didnd't want to waste or show better missiles, when they know they are under a 24/7 hour surveilance by the US, Russia, Japan, etc?
Please don't underestimate a country which puts all its resources into the army.
I guess no one learns from their mistakes...take Germany for example in WW2... They had the worst times after WW1 economically, and financially.
The same thing may very well happen again.

Just seems as though N. Korea are trying to prove themselves, after all id be a little angry if I was in a revolution and the good old U.S.A decided that it was their business to get involved... as usual...
