President does not pay taxes. Im not sure about congress member but I know for a fact that the President does not pay taxes.

What are you talking about.. every single person in the US has to pay tax where they're a government official or not, that's why they make the presidents tax return publicly available.

You are proud of a country that breaks every record on the planet with deaths by guns
You are proud of a country that's considered a wealthy country, yet has a enormous amount of homeless people
You are proud of a country that has tried to force their ideals on other countries many times
You are proud of a country that treats supposed terrorists in terrible ways without them ever being allowed to get a lawyer
You are proud of a country that has electees that were bought and paid for by organizations like the NRA to make sure guns don't get outlawed
You are proud of a country that abuses kids in poor countries to make their stuff so they can make shitloads of it.

Those are just a few things about America that you are proud off, because if you are proud of something, then you are proud of the choices that person or in this case that country has made, i'm not proud of mine because there are quite a few choices that i disagree with, you apparantly not. Now if that was limited to just 1 president, who did get re-elected btw, it wasn't a 1 time stupid thing... then i could say ok, be proud, but Bush is just the tip of the iceberg.

why are you proud of something that you couldn't help and had nothing to do with? and of course by associating with it in such a way you are expressing pride in one of the most backward countries in the western world. As Gohan said, the things he listed are only the start of why America is so messed up.
