Objective of Ragezone??

Forgive me if I have not read every single section known to man on RZ but what sections I have delved into shows a rather worrying picture - namely there is a secion with the said Game title, a few people posting who know what they are doing but generally the rest of the posts are people asking for advice on the said Subject..

Example?? Take the Mir3 Section - a headless section that has had nothing "new" shoved in there for MONTHS now. Some might be frogiven to thinking that in fact the Develeopment of Mir3 has stopped but this is far from the truth.

Another Section at Random then - WoW - I am sure a Dedicated Site would cover the subject a lot better - I got enough information out of it to get a server and client but again these were actually provided by another site - not Ragezone - see the problem??

Lastly Mir2 - there is not even a section now for this - everytime RZ run a server they remove the sections, Mir2 is been advanced by the day but you would never know this - hell people have even choosen to post in MIR3 Section due to lack of mir2 provided.

So this is my thoughts, has RZ lost its Appeal and backing from the people in the know, is there any section that is fully supported with files and information? Is RZ not the home of ALL MMORPG Providing server and clients so you - yes you, can make your own server --- the server files are old and the clients missing - tbh pointless ..

Whats everybody else view on this??

To be fair, Mental took the mir2 section away long before the new server was thought to be made.. Unless he knew something months in advance, which is possible.

If I were to answer your question, I'd simply say, I'm not here for the files and such, so I don't know what to tell you. None of it interests me anymore. I used to be interested in mir2/mir3 files, but that passed. I now stay just for community reasons.

But thats just my case.

When I found out about RZ, it was simply a Mir2 private server with a free forum. I joined up because of Mir2 and am here now because of Mir2. The community has helped me stay, although I did stray from RZ a fair few times and will do again if this Mir2 project flops. Not interested in all the other crap on the forums, because imo there's plenty of better resources for them.

The problem is, there is just too many files and too few people keeping up with them. Mental should just put the clients in one area, and then lock it, at this rate. Too few are interested in developing them (here at least), and the sections are just littered with old spam and broken links.

Mental had a good idea, its just no one was as interested, at least not long term, in the other files as they have been w/mir2 and mir3.

lol RZ just became something like a portal. a point wer u can start ur search on mmorpg private server development/play. This also made community bigger (since the info isnt so technical), causing RZ to grow on "interests" n develop on a social way...
