Quite dissapointing i though we were getting kicked out of the european union (Then we wouldnt have to pay VAT and things would be a hell of alot cheaper :D)

VAT = Value Added Tax. In the UK, if you are over 18 you must pay tax. Or alternatively, things like food and childrens' clothes are tax-free, but cars, bulk goods etc have a cap of 17.5% VAT. All tax from VAT goes directly into the government's cauffers

u lucky guys...in germany u allways pay the VAT we just have 2 diffrent kinds of VAT on for the basic stuff (7%) like bread,water etc. and for luxury stuff (19%) like cars,TV etc. and this after u pay half of ur loan to our fucking state!!!damn i really hate germany...there are so many things going wrong!
