Obviously you dont have much knowledge on music either that or you just are biased, who decideds what music is ? People who listen to it so if it wasnt music why are Rock,Rap,Pop etc multi billion Dollar(or pound for the english :P) industries. People buy cd's so it shows what is music and what isnt.

Take Simon Cowel he just makes millions just picking people that actually are crap take that Michelle Macmanus think thats her name from pop idol UK she made 1 song and flopped and that boy band dunno name that fame accemedy picked

Originality is all very good... but when it still sounds crap and original then i give no respect 2 em :tp:. Originality + unbelivable talent = muse. Saying that im heavly into my dance n trance (only chilled trance).

Eminem owns D12... Hes only made that band coz of his m8's. Lets face it... all of em would get nowhere if it wasent for him.

End of the day this is mostly opinion based so you cant really judge an artist this way.... If some people like them then they have to be doing somthing right somewhere :)

no i would have to say that both of you are wrong, from what i have read..again.. is that you are all just part of one huge fad and once that is over ull just move to another, rap is all the same whether the person is singing about getting shot three times or about how his mother was abusive (which she was not ) overall they all sing about the same concept which is money, sex, drugs, and cars. i do not see how encouraging this kind of music is good, excpecialy to children. Also rap can even (alot of the time) treat women as objects and i dont see how that is apealing either. Rap is talking to a beat, listen to a "song" written by lets say, 50 cent and tell me if u hear him sing i mean really sing once in the whole song then come and talk to me.
