    paranoia (short film)

A young, successful, family-orientated man suffers from a severe case of paranoia ever since his his brother passed away. His only way to deal with it is through the harsh reality of drugs.

Shot and edited in about 30 minutes.

Who's the newbie who filmed that?

Just kidding, you have talent Cameron, you're the next Clint Eastwood, I can feel it. But I prefer "A walk with a girl".

Only a few thing to comment about it. The brother who died I wouldn't have guessed he had died if the plot hadn't had been there i think you need to put more emphasis on that or show it a different way.

The Title font didn't suit the music at all.

Some of the movement shots start standing still they should continue on a work way in your next short film you might try that.

Just a few tips from an ex Media student ^_^

You've got some talent man great works.

    Re: paranoia (short film)

I drew the conclusion from watching the short film that a man had become depressed and turned to drugs after his son was taken away from him. I see no signs of any paranoia in this film. The plot is completely different from what I percieved. But maybe you made it so people could intepret it themselves?

I like the lighting, and the bed is a vital part of the portrayal of someone suffering mentally. They keep to the bedroom and don't walk around the house, something you showed by filming empty rooms. But why is the bed empty in the first scenes? We don't see anyone until the scene at 1:00 (which in my opinion was the best scene by the way).

It's a very good short film.

Well, since I shot it in such a short amount of time and didn't really think of any plot...I made the storyline after I edited it. Lucifer, your plot actually seems to make more sense since I showed pictures of a boy. I also think it would have been a good idea to not have a plot so people could interpret what happened themselves (like you said).

I wanted to keep the rooms empty to emphasize and symbolize the loss of the man and how he is a cluttered, depressed, apathetic person since his loss.
