Well, they have a particular high chance of dieing before their puberty, and having poor physical health. And of course their is the increased chance of having hereditary diseases like hemophilia.
Also, this is may be a bit off the subject. But long term incest (Around 20 generations) will eventually produce a generation of very strong genes. But the chance of that happening is pretty slim.
I feel quite sorry for them actually. They thought they found the perfect parther but really it was too perfect and really they were siblings. Must be a really hard time for them at the momemt as this has caused a hell of a lot of issues for them to deal with. >.<
Yeah, life can be harsh.
I got 4 cousins, all around my age. I only met 1 of them like 4 years ago, they live in the same place where i go to school and work, and from the pictures i saw once i could tell they weren't bad looking. Now just imagine if were to get with 1 of them and find out that they were indeed a cousin... Would be really fucked up.
The chance aren't really that high unless the family has the genes already for it. Meaning both brother and sister need to carries of a gene abnormality. The chances are higher but it only really stands out after several generations when bad genes have been put together so much that something stands out.
However it's more likely to have a retarded baby if you have it with a family member (play it safe and don't?).
I don't see why it's so disgusting to people =/
Course I make a habit of not accepting social norms fully ^_^
