Just because it seems to include the same buildings doesn't mean its real.
What more is "fake" there then? Buildings are on exactly same places as they really are, clouds that way seems to be also real ( http://www.burjdubaiskyscraper.com/2...-tower2301.jpg ) Is it really that hard to believe it's true lol..?
This discussion can seriously go on forever. No matter how it was produced I think we can all agree that it's a nice picture nevertheless.
The buildings don't look real, they were either edited in, modified or something else to give it a unreal look.
I've thought about that, but the sun can't cause that in many of the cases, many buildings are completely surrounded by it.Quote:
I lol'd :p yeah that can be from either chroma keying or the sun reflecting off the surface.
I'm not sure what happened, but it has to been digitally modified.
at 1st glance to me i thought wow that looks wayyy too damn awesome to be real, the colour is fucking vibrant, the buildings look too perfect to be true, and man the view with the clouds, absolutely jaw dropping!
having never been there myself i could never say for certain if it was real or not but i know that in my travels around the world i have seen some sights that looked too awesome to be true and had i not seen them with my own eyes i would have doubted them in a picture too
Clear sky (up there :p ), sunny day, and some pro camera. That's all duh..
Which creates perfectly straight buildings and white edges around the building?
EDIT: I agree with that Flawz, but still this isn't just some touching up, this looks more like a playboy spread where every girl seems to have a body which is so smooth and perfect that you would slide off it if you tried to lay on top of her.
It all has to do with shrunken pixels again. I think we can all agree that this line is not straight.

If I scale it down 5 times smaller than the original it looks like this:

Pixels is a pain in the ass, cause they can't be split in half. A pixel is a pixel no matter how hard you try. If you scale things down they become smaller and smaller, but the pixels remain the same size, just squished. If that made any sense :p
It does, that's why the sides of the buildings should have that effect in it, instead they look completely straight.
God, this convo is still going on.... I thought i posted this in Spamzilla.
You're not the thread creator so what are you on about? And it's nice having a discussion every now and then, and it's fun theory crafting in general. You make it sound like every thread that have more than 4 pages belong in the spamzilla.
