Re: [PIC] The Best Photo Ever Taken From View
The pic is real, i've got family friends that visited dubai, i've seen pics of dubai before, ofcourse not as beautifull as this sky view but the image is authentic, there is even one on wunderground

@Gohan: i know why you're so stunned, dubai is one of the most beautiful places on earth. There is situated the most luxurious hotel in the world, run by a Romanian woman.

This is how it would look like if the image that was posted here was about 5 times larger. Which a HD camera EASILY can produce.
NOW, if I shrink that image to 5 times SMALLER it looks like THIS, and this is done by simply resizing the image.

Wow, the colors blended into one color. MAGIC

Antennas, birds, whatever. No 3D or 2D artist would add something small like that cause it doesn't make any difference to the viewer.
You're just being arrogant and ignore the explanation cause you assume your graphic knowledge is above mine.
You get that when you resize that image? How the hell did you do that, because mine still looks like it goes from white to black...
In the end you just don't get it, buildings are NOT straight, these are, it doesn't matter what camera you use and all that, buildings are not 100% straight, nor do they have a white edge around it, because really, tell me how you get a building with clouds around it, but in between you have a much lighter line? How do you get that, seriously, explain that to me, if anything the clouds directly around it should be darker due to pixels merging of the building with the clouds, instead the pixels of the buildings don't merge, and the line around the building is close to white whereas the clouds are darker.
Are those buildings blessed by god so they get a white aura? Seriously, start thinking.
Nice picture Lovegod, you know what you can notice right away, that some buildings are standing pretty much perfectly straight, but others don't, that's 1 of the 2 things i'm missing in the other picture. The buildings are all perfectly straight, and there is a white line around it.

I lol'd :p yeah that can be from either chroma keying or the sun reflecting off the surface.
I have my theory and you have yours. The only way this is ever going to stop is if we find the original image.
Re: [PIC] The Best Photo Ever Taken From View
How about going to Dubai yourself?

Sure I'll get em as soon as you give me the money for em.
Re: [PIC] The Best Photo Ever Taken From View
You seem to talk like the buildings themselves don't exist. They do. But it's only the picture we're discussing.
Re: [PIC] The Best Photo Ever Taken From View
Who me? I'm sure they excist=/ Saw em a couple of times on TV + a documentary about em on Discovery.
Re: [PIC] The Best Photo Ever Taken From View
Just because it seems to include the same buildings doesn't mean its real.
Re: [PIC] The Best Photo Ever Taken From View
What more is "fake" there then? Buildings are on exactly same places as they really are, clouds that way seems to be also real ( http://www.burjdubaiskyscraper.com/2...-tower2301.jpg ) Is it really that hard to believe it's true lol..?
Re: [PIC] The Best Photo Ever Taken From View
This discussion can seriously go on forever. No matter how it was produced I think we can all agree that it's a nice picture nevertheless.
Re: [PIC] The Best Photo Ever Taken From View
The buildings don't look real, they were either edited in, modified or something else to give it a unreal look.

I've thought about that, but the sun can't cause that in many of the cases, many buildings are completely surrounded by it.
I'm not sure what happened, but it has to been digitally modified.
