Some people think that there is actually no such thing as gay or lesbian, its what people do when their sub-conciouns has a deep need for sex, and just doesnt care how... so therefore, one would be attracted to his/her same gender because he/she is more used to being around and is much more comfortable while around their same gender... Thats just a theory though, and most likely bogus because some gay/lesbo people feel it isnt right WHILE in a relationship with someone opposite sex.
It really is a "mitery", i would just leave it at that and let "the pros" take care of it :P

That's what they claim, and i would like to see them explain why people are gay then, it's not by choice, they are shaped like that, now since they looked at many peoples childhood they can't find a connection at all, so how does this happen then?
I'd say they were the ones that messed up, or they simply looked at the wrong place, in any case it has to be something which they are born with.

Well, tbh, i've seen people around that were straight, then went to gay, and one person that i actually now know was gay, went to straight, so i know that there is a way to convert, and it isn't fixed which must mean that it can't be in the genes. We all have strong theories behind our believes, and as we grow older, it's harder to break our beliefs, because we've believed in them for so long, so i'm not sure wether i'm debating something that's fixed in my head, or i'm argueing something that's truthfull... However the same could be said about pretty much everybody...

Yes they can pretend that, although they are attracted to the same sex, they aren't disgusted or anything by a naked woman, straight people can't pretend to be gay, at least not most, and not well, while gay people can pretend to be straight, so a gay person can pretend their whole life to be straight, they can get kids, they can have a wife they do truely love, but at the end of the day if they see watch some porno then they will be checking out the guy and not the girl.
And this really happens alot, because way to many people are afraid of what their family etc will say, and rightfully so as alot of people will not be happy with it to put it lightly, so they are afraid what their family will say, what their friends will say, and are afraid they will be loosing alot of people, while if you pretend to be straight then no one will turn their back on them.

What you should all watch is "But I'm a Cheerleader" that movie is fun, there is some cool lesbian action, but on top of that it gives you a very clear view on gay people, how they work, how people look at them etc, it's ofcourse all kinda extreme, but the thinking of people in that movie and all do happen.
Basicly the movie is about a girl who her parents and friends think she is a lesbian, she pays alot of attention to her cheerleading friends, she has pictures of women in her locker and doesn't like to be kissed by her bf, she doesn't even realise herself that she is lesbian.
Anyway she gets send of to a place where she and other girls and guys learn to be straight.
Btw don't worry about any male gay stuff, although you can see without a doubt that there are male gays in it, but you don't see actual action.
All this comes down to is change. Those that aren't part of the change are afraid of it, so they lash out at it in multiple ways, some extreme, some very carefully. The thing is change is going to happen whether people are ready for it or not; you can try to deny it but you can't fight the winds of change and win. People have tried before, on many different subjects, and we look back at them and laugh, and wonder what they were thinking.. will that happen again? of course
