I thought his dad still alive. the water give him immortality, thats what I heard. Indy 4 dont have his dad on set because it was played by Sean Connery (a legend btw :) ) but he's retired so they remove his character and don't let anyone played Indy's dad.

I enjoyed it. Not as much as the previous Indy films, but I didn't expect to anyway. The whole alien thing was BLAH for sure. But I <3 Harrison Ford so it was worth the money.

no, he was talking about people that had died (like his mum or whoever) then he mentioned his dad

You know those Crystals are real right? Not like the movie tells you but they are real.
and his dad is dead, yes he did drink the water BUT it only gave him immortality as long as he stayed inside the temple, thats why in the last crusade, the old templar knight stayed inside the temple when it was falling down because he would die if he left the temple. Im succchhh a Geeek! and yeah I loved the 4th movie, and by the way did anyone else notice the Ark of the Covenant at the beginning of the movie? and I've heard Shila is going to continue the Indiana Jones Chronicles
