You can post your desktop, and if you're feeling brave in-ordinance you can post a IRL picture of the area in which you spend your time in whilst on the computer (I will be doing this sometime next week after payday, new camera baby!)

My PC is upstairs, modem/router downstairs.
You can't diss this, my wireless card is faster then any laptop card in my house (external+ inbuilt) 5* connection all the time.
Oh and not to mention that I get my full connection speed.
Well I never had that on wireless... (except the time that I was sitting next to the modem/router)
Well I have always faster connection with an wire than with wireless...
And for me I have the modem/router downstairs aswell but that doesn't mean I don't have an wire upstairs xD
and I have an some kind of splitter that makes the shit go to my laptop x360 and my desktop :)

But why run a wire upstairs when you can just buy a decent wireless card? I've got a Linksys WMP300N v2 and it works just fine.

I was more or less wondering why are things running in nobody mode, and why not htop. But I'll hold my tongue on those things, as I could go on for quite some time in the discussion of server administration/maintenance.
oh and @ the guy on wireless; ever heard of a drill? Use that shit and drill a small hole for the ethernet to run from downstairs to upstairs from, 100ft cords are cheap.
