Actually she is, and I don't think it has anything to do with my 'spying' or rather my capability of doing so. Since I've seen rather good habits (which were instilled more than the "watch out I can spy on you" and just expecting her to know what she can and can't do) I actually haven't even bothered 'spying' for oh IDK a few years now... I still keep a general eye on things though (of course), but I haven't had to be too intrusive. I also would like to think I'm a "cool" parent because I'm only really watching out for something I deem seriously hazardous, like giving out personal information to strangers (which no kid should do online imho)... If I caught my kids looking at some of the shit most parents would deem "bad" it really wouldn't bother me too much, I was a kid too. For example, porn. As disturbing as it may sound, I'd rather know my kids are watching porn than winding up parents while they're still kids themselves!

We are booked in for a 4d scan now too ;)

I know, but you wont be able to follow 'everywhere'. (IE school or other peer activities/places). This is why I'm glad I have my boys to follow around and 'take care of' their 'sis' :D: They will often be places with her I cannot be (enter the school and other peer functions example)... :wink: Then I'm still at the top of the tree/chain, anyone messes with any/all of my kiddos, then of course yea, they will have me to cross first ~ ultimately.

Well we haven't chosen her name yet, James is to be her surname....we didn't choose what to put in for her name, the sonographer did.

Why is it when anyone is pregnant I don't think about the joys of having a baby (I'm not sure there are any, but heck I'm not a dad yet so how would I know? :P) but I think of the sleepless nights and complete dis joy of having to wake up every two hours. I'm a semi there Jordan... I don't get the broody feeling or get so excited I have to tell everybody. In fact, I find newborns quite dull and pregnancy more so. <.<

Saying that, when they get older I do start to get excited. Like my little one just finished Reception to go to year 1 and after reading her Report and seeing what she can or can't do I can't wait to see what she can do next. O.O

Actually being a mom without a guy would be harder.

As well when you've just brought the child up then it's really hard because your the only one who needs to wake up in the morning because your kid is crying and what not.

And once he grows up his puberty his attitude changes a bit and it's eeally hard to handle that because my neighbour has 3 kids and no man and even she struggles.

Her kids are probably around the 3 - 8 - 11
