Id love to learn how to build pc's but it seems so compliecated all the wires amd stuff
bah ive already said just read up on it man its not that hard ^_^Originally Posted by Spunkeh
It's not hard at all. The only trouble with wires is making sure you put them in the right place (obviously) and to do so all you have to do is read the documentation that comes with the guts (motherboard/processor are really the only tricky parts).Originally Posted by Spunkeh
It's just like putting a chair together, or a desk, or a model airplane.. Read the directions :) and be careful :good:
i cant read :tp: anyone recommend any good books?Originally Posted by Exclamatio
putting a PC together is something a baby can do ( if it can read ;) ) ... its tweaking it that makes the difference ;)
One step at a time pal ;)Originally Posted by Dragon
damn i cant read :*( does that mean i cant build a PC? :tp:Originally Posted by Dragon
rofl , sorry if my post came out the wrong way...
i ll tell u this :
start with removing something like a HD or ur CD-rom , check how these things connect...
its obvious cause there s not a single connector that u can place wrong :) ... only on the MB there r a few tricky jumpers but thats why there r manuals when u buy such a thing ... it always has a step-by-step explanation what u ve gotta do :) so all u ve gotta do to be able to get a PC together is having the guts to take a screwdriver and check it out a bit before u begin to play...
when u get to the mainboard i sugest u get a friend who s done it before cause that part can be a bit scary @ first :) ... btw, most of these things got safety electronics inside , there s hardly a case that u can put something wrong , but when that happens, there s a 90% chance u dont break a thing :)
Dragon you know it all :P Well my brother put a computer together, and he is one stupid idiot, so if he can do it, im sure you can :moon:
2 CPUs aint that good really lol, my friend has just got one and he aint seen a huge difference, its for CGI really, and using powerful 3D programs, for games etc it dont do owt lol. Just acts as 1, get yourself a 3.2 amd athlon 64 :tp:
Oh yeah... I pwn j00! I have a duel 3.6ghz 64bit... with 2700ddr... and a 6800gfx... With alot of other snazzy stuff I am to lazy to post...
Yea, been thinkin of building my own computer, of course at the moment I don't have cash (don't think $100 (American) will get me far in trying to build one XD), but once I get like $1000, perhaps I might be able to (I think I will, provided I cut back on a few things so I can purchase my Radeon 9800 Pro, GRR).
Don't go rad, the new GeForce models completly kill the Rad series... also, hyperthreading is also splitting right?
yea was gonna say that, go for an FX card, 5950 or 6800
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3.6ghz 64bit <- IS ME OR IS SOME1 FUKIN DRUNK HERE??? only AMD has 64bit processors, and AMD doesnt have processors more than 3.2!!! and he says its duel! there is no mother board at this time that has duel 64 bit processors supported!!!!! roflmfaoooooooooooooo i smeel lying goin on!Originally Posted by youth89
Sipher ur actually wrong :X , my dad has one :)
