Lot of people DO say they are Christian, and don't follow the teachings... I say I'm Christian, although I do have alternate beliefs than many you would find in the bible.

What I'm getting at in regards to that quote, is that I think beliefs are good to have but it's always good to question them, as well as to have new ideas as well. None of us know for sure what happened then or what will happen later... Some say this is our only life some say some will be saved some will be damned.. Me, I think quite the latter; although most people would probably disagree with me.
Some of the things that happened in the bible are still around today. You can believe what you want but you cant argue when their is evidence saying things actually exsist. Noah's Arc is still on Mount Ararat and scientists have studied minerals in the earth, and yes there was a flood. The earth was not created by any bang theory on any crap that people have made up. Anyone can make up a theory, but they cant prove it's real.

now my beliefs is that theres is "something" ( the " are important) somewhere, i don't call it god cause i can't name it, or at least i don't want to, cause naming it something would b giving it "Human caracheteristics", since we are un-perfect then it will make it un-perfect as a consequence. I belive i decide my destiny rather than that "something". tbh i only really believe in this lil "something" that i created when im desperate and i need something to hold on to.
Religion/god/beliefs/dreams/wishes i face them as basicly the same thing, they are made by us and are there cause we need something to push/motivate us.

Can't we be satuated with the fact that all believe in there own idealisms, in which none match no matter what recurring thematic may be of source? I don't believe in anything spiritual or other wordly(I do believe in aliens, but not omnipetant beings), while you have characters like Purplepill who are very passionate about their religion.

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers who represented the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths who explained their belief systems. I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say.
The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam complete with a video. After the presentation time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn I directed my question to the Imam and asked: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that all of the Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad (Holy War) against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"
There was no disagreement with my statements and without hesitation he replied, "Non-believers!"
I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to heaven. Is that correct?"
The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, "Yes."
I then said, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Pat Robertson or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to heaven."
The Imam was speechless.
I continued, "I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question...would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and wants you to be with me?"
You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.

The people who go kill other people because they are not muslims are Non Believers. They do what they want and think god Will be pleased with them.
