Rep system sucks ass.

Just a big popularity contest it doesn't really show anything. The amount of rep given for good posts is far surpassed by friends giving friends it. Plus your own rep effects how much you give so the system just gets worse and worse (I think I got maxed rep from one person reping me...)

Yeah, we need a rep system, deffinitely.
I mean, it helps people segregate other people, because they don't have a high enough/equal 'reputation'.

It's fucking stupid.

I don't think we need another means of isolating certain people, all because they're not as active, not as known/whatever reason.

Post count is bad enough as it is.
Some little asshole comes along, spams for a month, gets 2k posts and then thinks he's a 'daddy' of the forum, who can throw their precious 2,000 posts about the place.

Very true, i do believe that it should be for mods, so that they can really thank a user for their hard work, in the end everyone helps out for free here, so it's only normal to thank people for it, and imo this is 1 way to do that.

Rep system is just a way to bust ya ego :(
