Huh? He banned Gohan for being correct about Zelda not being a "classic RPG", how is that epic in any way?

the arguement was pointless really the guy asked for games like zelda, he was given them should have ended there except gohan decided to "exert his authority!" and create pointless posts, so much for keeping his section in check
I did not throw my weight about. Gohan threatened to abuse his powers and delete posts containing the opinion that Zelda can be classed as an RPG. I told him he would not be allowed to do so, then he goes all bitchy and then preceeds to act like his authority supercedes mine. It doesn't.
I have had 5 PM's from various people all containing Gohans little abuses and this was the final straw. It was discussed in Super Staff before I banned and is fully justified.
Don't like it? I don't aim to please everyone.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. And if one is banned for it, then so be it.
But it shows how weak RaGEZONE is getting with all this power being thrown about. But back to the topic. Zelda a RPG? But with the case at hand, i'm fully on DTB side if i have to be on any side at all.

it has character naming, character improvement (getting hearts), different outfits, optional items, inventory screen, side quests

Btw, one of the very first Zelda games had a leveling & skill system.
If you read the thread robert, Gohan outlines the key elements to an "RPG" which Zelda has none of. It was played in the 3rd person and you controlled the player's actions ; that's as far as it goes to being an RPG. Even Nintendo themselves classify it as an Adventure game, how exactly can you argue with that?
DTB - It is his section and as such when it comes to matters concerning things of that genre, i would like to think that his opinion holds more weight than yours. Being Smod does by no stretch of the imagination make you a god of all sections ; are you saying an smod with no computer knowledge can post something completely wrong in the hardware section yet i have no right to correct it? He was completely correct in deleting posts which were to his knowledge, wrong and misleading.
FYI, your argument of "you play the role of link and you choose different weapons for different circumstances and i complete various quests for better equipment" means nothing - by that definition, splinter cell is an RPG also!

if memory serves we are discussing ocarina of time rishwin, not some new game for trigger happy wiimoters. besides if nintendo were to list it as an rpg it would gain a stigma lowering their sales, what right-minded company would do that?
