What about discipline? You become a ninja and you're either killed in action or as a reward for a successful mission.

I vote for ninjas. Not that they'd own samurais, because these two can't just simply be compared, but because I just like the stealthy style more. At least on this very moment, my answer might be different after an hour.

The true ninja is a covert enemy, unlike the cliche that has become known today.
A ninja does not usually dress up in all black, but will usually dress as a farmer, or caretaker of a dojo, to get closer to his/her target. Upon encountering his/her target, they would most likely use a poison to kill, then casually walk away as if he did nothing, whilst the target soon dies.
And as far as Ninja vs Samurai, a Ninja has proven better, but it also depends on the skills of the samurai, but unlike the samurai, the ninja is not limited to just using a sword.
Therefore I vote ninja.
