You don't know psychology. I'm flat out saying it. You are a moron, period. I've read several texts in the subjects and taken quite a few courses, never have I heard of anyone who called themselves a psychologist who knew as little about people as you do. Though I did know someone who was like you, this chick who acted like she knew psychology. She was even listed as a psychology major in a local university, though she had only taken an introductory course in philosophy. Here's what happened, for reference. She tried to do a little psychology experiment on me by doing stupid shit and gauging responses. She then tried to break down my "responses" and highlight reasons why I behave the way I do. To this end, she acted as if she was superior in every way to me because she claimed to know something about psychology, because she read a book and thought it'd be interesting to study people, like a person studying the behavior of rats. I proceeded to take her ideas and the little experiment she ran and found no less than 20 graduate studies disproving everything she had said along with quotes from several Ph.D.s in texts on the subjects explaining why her experiments were faulty and completely inaccurate. She quit school, at least trying to study psychology, and I've not spoken to her since for what can only be described as an incredible abuse of a friendship.Quote:

Psychologist is not a "specific" occupation, it is a generic term that refers to a wide array of occupations all stemming from Psychology. And if you knew anything at all about psychology you'd know in cases like this treatment is rarely effective. Sorry.
