Interesting question.
We play a lot of Frisbee, so I send a good 50 a day.
On days we don't play it's around 0-10.
Haven't sent one for over 7 months.
Hm.. I send like 30-60 a day depending on if I'm with my GF or not. But I guess you don't have free sms ?
A very careful guess, 5 a day, all averaged. Most days 0, but then there are peaks, over the weekend and especially yesterday I sent several hundreds if you count continued separate.

How do you survive?
Holidays have started so I've only sent 11 txts in the past month according to my phones "Sent Messages" thing. Probably about 2 or 3 picture messages as well.
Usually about twice that I reckon in good months.
The past 2 years I've sent 8727 according to my phone.. That's 10 a day and I've one had free sms the last 6 months :P
