There have been times when selecting the world's best player has required little thought. Diego Maradona, Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane all enjoyed moments when they were the overwhelming choice.

Now, by contrast, debate over the sport's finest performer is arguably more intense than it ever has been. The reason? Kaka, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, three truly exceptional superstars of this generation.

So, who is the best player in the world? Do you feel it is Kaka, Messi or Ronaldo? Does another player deserve the distinction?

Messi. Hes ridiculous. His dribbling ability leaves me breathless tbh. And he remains focused. The problem with Ronaldo is that he starts to think he is too good and ends up doing 500 cross overs when only 1 or 2 are necessary. Kaka is excellent because he has that play making ability, and his passes and shots are deadly. But Messi has basically developed into the lethal playmaker for Barcelona.

As far as I know, Liverpool came to my country for a friendly match against my national team few weeks ago. Fernando Torres appears to be relatively popular, in fact the most, out of the entire Liverpool team, in Singapore. I'm sure many would vote for him as the current best striker now.. I had many acquaintances that would always name torres as the best player rather than c ronaldo,
