I only gave you shit because I've noticed lately you've been a hell of a lot more aggressive. From what I read regarding the post Savage made, I didn't see anything wrong with it. I'm sure you can agree as well that Legends always have and always will have a better response from the community when posting a thread, regardless of the topic. I'm not saying the staff would be the ones to show favoritism either. I'm merely stating the community overall would be less likely to flame a legend, than they would to flame an ordinary member. I believe that was the point Riku and Savage was making, and that is why I gave you shit. I believe you took it the wrong way, and you creating this thread got me concerned you were having personal issues similar to Rish when he suddenly became grouchy for no apparent reason.

I didn't intend to have my visitor post to you seem as though I was scolding you. I was merely trying to see if you were ok and what the deal was in regards to why you seem to be more uptight lately. I fully read every response, I always do. So again, what's going on? PM me if you don't want to discuss it here.

But lets face it, mods aren't lenient on Legends because they are older members or because they know the rules. They go easy on us because we were hand-picked for this rank by Dan or Lee, and infracting someone who they vouched for would be like second-guessing their decision.

Not to mention that almost all of us already have a comprehensive list of infractions and bans, it would be futile to even bother infracting us because it wouldn't mean anything to us.

You were trying see if I was ok? First of all I got friends for that, second why would you do that in public? Seriously, think about that for a second.

Yes Legends do get more replies then pretty much everyone else and most people wouldn't mess with us for the simple fact that we got a lot of friends here and plenty of followers who follow us for the simple fact that they think we can help raise their status (which frankly we could, though in my case this would only help them lower their status, preferably to banned since I don't like asskissers).
However this is not special treatment. If anything it's people like yourself who keep talking about how we get treated different, that raises our status that people actually begin to think we get special treatment.
So yes the community treats us different, as they treat you different aswell, this however doesn't mean that while a normal member would get flamed for posting a bug and a Legend doesn't. Now it might be a valid point if I just complained about all the ads and stuff, sure most people wouldn't flame me for it, they might even agree with me believing that if a Legend says it they are safe from getting flamed themselves, however this was not the case, not to mention that I would never do that, if I had a big issue with how MentaL ran this site then I would just talk to him personally and not write this in the open. I've got a better understanding of how hard he fought for this site all these years then most here and I've always respected the fact the he kept this site going even when it was really hard for him to keep it open.


So really, there was no point for them to make, it was (and btw still is...) a bug report, I find it quite pathetic that a increasing group of people come in here assuming all sorts of things about myself and my fellow Legends, but also the higher up mods here (seeing as they moderate this section), all people who have and still are involved of the running of this site, spending countless hours making it what it is today. This doesn't mean you need to respect us or anything like that, but not giving both the ex-staff members and current staff members shit for supposed special treatment would go a long way to not be seen as a dick by both of those groups, which might also help you not to get infracted as much by mods who are annoyed of peoples attitude towards them.

IIRC, it was bought with intention of being a wrestling website (never actually made - 1, 2) -> Official RZ Mir guild forum -> Ragezone Mir Server -> Ragezone now.

Within that there was the previous invision(?) type forum then the move to vBulletin. (Probably "server -> dev" stage)

Think the guild website was possibly 01 though.

Not a guild site. I would have remembered a RZ guild seeing as we played on the same server.
The forum before this one was a phpBB2 forum, I was a moderator on that before I came a administrator on the vB forums, which was like november 2002, in february we lost the server files, our last back up (which I still have) was from like january, which Dan decided not to use due to how old it was (a month might not seem much, but on a 3 month old forum it's quite a lot :P)

IIRC Dan started experimenting with files in like april 2002, in like July the first real server went up, a month later Dan started spamming the LoM forums with his website address.

I believe Joe joined RZ around July/August, I myself joined in September, hence knowing the history of this website quite well. ;)

It was about 2001, because it was when I moved schools. So it was either late-ish 2001 or very early 2002. Also, we had PHP-BB forums for quite a while, then the forums went down so it was hosted by some members of the community on one of these shitty free forum sites for about 2-3 months before MentaL returned, and it was PHP-BB for a little while after that aswell.

Considering this vBulletin site went up early 2003, I'm edging it was 2001 I joined. That makes me a 10 year veteran!

Like I said, no one joined in 2001, absolutely no one. And the first few months of 2002 there was no server at all, it wasn't until later that there was a actual server.

So yeah, you can't be from 2001, just not possible, nor is early 2002.

Yes, ordinary members have been flamed in the past for posting bugs, so your logic for that goes out the window. Regardless of staff handling the flames or not, ordinary members have been flamed, where as you didn't (most likely due to your Legend status). Now, you sit there and tell me, with a clear open mind how Savage/Riku was wrong in what he said? That is what they were referring to, and that is what I was trying to get you to understand. But because it somehow pissed you off (just like almost every post that even slightly contradicts yours lately it seems), you felt the need to make this thread to bash them, only further proving their point. You'd think as a former staff member, you would know better but it seems not.

Right, bit overdue to lock this. OF course mods and myself are biased. If you are new here and you come prancing out like the lord itself then people are going to respond to you in a negative manner. Gohan has been here for a long time and I've had the pleasure of meeting him and therefore I'll always cut slack to people who I feel are an essential part of this community but he has still been banned for being an ass.

Always good to talk about ragezone history... yesterday made me realise how much as a person I've grown over the years and well that is that. As onto the topic of bugs, this has already been addressed in this thread so if you feel the need to post about this again then maybe inbox each other.
