I personally don't think there was anything wrong with communism when the idea first erupted.
When Karl put the idea out there, I mean ever since I was very young I always used to think to myself, wouldn't it be great to be in a world where there was no such thing as currency?
You would get everything in portions like every week or month depending on what it is.
As I grew older I also realized that you wouldn't have much of a personality everyone would be the same.
But still when it firs tbegan it was a pretty good idea before the other people began modifying the rules.
I guess it was an idea doomed to fail.
But I really didn't mean to get into that I just wanted to see the video of this. xD

Communism in theory is communism in action. When Marx wrote the Manifesto he was targeting industrialized countries like Great Britain and United States. If you are willing to sacrifice your liberty for equality than communism may just be the thing for you.
