    Surgery

Tomorrow I am getting surgery on my knee to repair some cartilage. :sad_1: I am a bit worry about it, but it is supposedly only minor surgery. The good news is I get to stay home from school for three days and then Columbus day break gives me a 6 day break to heal and play games. Other than that I fear that it will be hard going up stairs with crutches when I get back to school on Tuesday. And yes my school is too poor to afford elevators.

Anyways, keep me in your thoughts and prayers...

    Thanks,
    Lore

Yeah good luck. We dont have elevators either (only automatic chairs that follow the stairs by a rail), but we only have one floor and 2 parts which are upstairs.

Why do they need to repair it anyway?

    Re: Surgery

I was playing dodge ball in gym last year and did this awesome Derek Jeter-like spin move getting two people out with one throw. It was a success but as I finished the spin I slammed my knee into the wall, breaking my knee. The doctor thought it was only a bone problem so I just got an X-ray, and then later a cast. It wasn't until after my cast was off and two months into physical therapy that the doctor told me to get an MRI, because I was still limping. So I got an MRI and they found a tear in my cartilage. I was pretty annoyed because I found out a week before school started.

Eh, by elevator I mean the thing on the side of the stairs that goes up and down. Whatever you call it...

    Re: Surgery

good luck man. hope the surgery gone well

School has elevators, if they have floors. although the school need money to add a elevator. theres no escalator in school, that would be crazy but cool but not gonna happen i think. my school has 3-4 elevator, only for teachers who carry their stuffs like 40+books, and other shit on a big cart. also it for students who is also kinda like you (knee surgery, broken knee or legs, etc.)

    GOOD LUCK!

    *update*

This is my first time being able to access a computer since surgery, so I thought I would let everyone know that I am still alive. Anyways, the surgery didn't quite turn out the way it was suppose to be. The doctor/surgeon found excessive amounts of inflamed tissue while he was repairing my cartilage. He removed the tissue and sent it to pathology to see why it is inflamed. I am hoping I won't need another surgery. Yesterday, Wednesday, was pretty painful after the surgery but today, Thursday, I am feeling much better.
