Hey guys, I was confirmed to have the flu today and I was wondering if anyone could help me cope. I am currently stuffed in my room, I am typiing this on my iPod. I have finals next week and I won't be in school for review any1 have any tips / ideas?
1. Study up on some books instead of teh forums.
2. If you have a computer available, use that to study as well.
3. Study hardcore, don't let anything distract you.
4. Study for at least 4-5 hours a day. (I did it. >.>)

Stop making it into big deal, the Swine Flu is EXACTLY the same as any other Flu, the only difference being that it causes other problems if you are HIV Positive. Get some rest and you will get better, worrying about it will make you feel worse. I say this because today the Australian Government has declared that after sufficient research, Swine Flu has been removed from the pandemic phase and is no more dangerous than the common cold.
They even made an address stating that even if you have the symptoms, unless it appears to be serious, do not even bother going to see a doctor.The new phase recognises that the infection with H1N1 Influenza 09 is not as severe as originally envisaged when the Australian Health Management Plan for Pandemic Influenza (AHMPPI) was written in 2008 and that this new disease is mild in most cases, severe in some and moderate overall.
Thank you for your advise hydrobenz! Luckily I have all my notes backed up on mycomputer. Bad news is that I cannot leave my room without putting the rest of myfamily at risk it's not that it's a huge pain to live with it's just that it's so contagious. I think the common cold is a bit of an understatement, it's much worse then the cold and the chills are probably the worst thing about it

Its pandemic potential is not deniable; that is what started the whole scare in the first place. I'm just saying that as far as symptoms and its lethality go, it's the same as any other Flu.
EEnnee : The common cold has killed more people than Swine Flu has, do not underestimate it. It is an acute respiratory infection which makes it exactly the same as a Flu, just with slightly varying symptoms.
I dont think he asked what the swine flu was or what the effects of it were, just some tips on getting some study for school.
I agree with Hydro, thats probably the best to do, most important access to a computer.
