Quite a few forums have this button in threads that give +1 to a thank you counter. This way people will recive thanks for something they do with out the need of hundreds of posts saying "thank you", "nice one", "that's great", etc.

So who is abusing the warning system? And how are they abusing it? No doubt you been given a warning for doing something wrong and you dont agree with it

Oh, yeah, er, I really don't know if it matters to have such a feature, the rep system was all right imo but wasn't anything special. The fact people abused it was semi-entertaining. Besides that, I didn't think much of it. Just a feature that is cool at first and then forgotten about :P
