Well, just saw it...and to be honest...it sucks!
There is no story whatsoever, actors act very bad and it consists only of stupid effects. While effect might look good, this was just overkill.
Also, they kept saying 'this is the last thing to stop him', fails. Then 'this is really the last thing to stop him' fails, and again...O.o
So, spend your money wisely, but this film is absolute phailure.

Well, its out here today. So I guess I'll just go watch it for the sake of telling people that I watched all the mummy movies.
Wasn't expecting much from it. Seems that some guy got a random idea or they just HAD to have a trilogy.
I enjoy the first two. This one just let me down cause Weisz is not in the movie. Yeah im a bit of a whiner here but seeing a sequel with different actors playing the first lead is just not gonna work.
I have to decide whether I'll go see this or not. The mall closed to my home almost finish their redo. I just hope they got a movie theater there so I won't bother my dad to drive me miles and miles to see a movie. I'll just take a bus.

well people didnt complain when the new hulk had a whole new set of protagonist, or when dark knight didnt have katie as playing rachel. might be offtopic but I found Dark Knight highly boring at some point. total overrated.
The yeti's? A bit weird...why would the yeti's help them? Why would they risk their lives? There is absolutely no story so it actually makes sense, things just happen without a reason somehow... =/

Any film that is advertised or has trailers is doomed to fail.
Good films are premiered then spread by word of mouth.

As for TDK, some do, some don't. I don't find the new Rachel Dawes attractive at all. She seems old. I like Katie as Rachel better. you watch it on cam version thats why. i prefer IMAX.
No see alot of movies got successful by just a teaser or a trailer. your statement doesn't make sense at all. also your last list is like a R rated movies anyway. there are PG movies that pwn those lists. TDK is pg it kicked TGF off of IMDB #1 spot.
The batman movie sucked. It was just another Hollywood trailer trash movie.

I just read that again and yup, I can understand it perfectly well. Also, what is wrong with R rated movies? Nothing.
Johnny Depp has starred in loads of PG rated films such a WWatCF, Jungle book and lion king are both U rated so that makes it less than 50% of those files are R rated.
Also, "also your last list is like a R rated movies anyway." It is you that is not making any sense. That should have been written as: "Also, your last list are mostly R rated movies." Which we have discovered is wrong anyway.
Also, I can't take movie advice off of anyone who likes the transformers movie. Which I believe was rated an epic two out of five.
I don't need to give you advice, fact is i don't give a dam if someone came up/not to me and ask for advice. Im not the person to approach when they need movie advice. As you can see, my view for movie is different. I don't need to be perfect or a masterpiece. Im aiming for entertainment. movies that could keep me stay till the end.

Also, I don't know anyone who walked out of the second list of movies that I posted above before the end.
I know several people that walked out of transformers and batman etc. I was among them.
