You didn't get banned initially, so it wouldn't serve a purpose to do it now, besides I don't remember people being banned for similar posts before and there's no rule about it. Probably the worst thing about making these jokes is that when somebody actually dies and a thread is made, it won't be taken seriously and in addition to having lost someone close the person will have to bear with flaming and getting other bad replies just like you did.
