Yeah its a vocal style, but it sounds completely shit, any tom dick or harry can scream like a fool into a microphone, but to sound good and hit all the right notes while singing properly is what takes skill. tbh metal/rock is prob more about performance than voice. but trust me hearing live (real live not lip syncing) alot of genres are bad. rappers fuk up with there beats, pop stars sing outta tune.
