He does get sympathy votes, simple as that. He should win, whether he's dead or alive, but he still does get sympathy votes, that's just peoples nature.Quote:

Ledger was a good joker, kinda twisted which suited the dark knight, but in honesty, i think they will only give him an oscar because hes dead.
Yeah he get's sympathy votes fo sho but he still deserves it, in my opinion. This is coming from a person who shrugged at the news of his death because I didn't even know who he was. The Dark Knight is the first time I've ever seen him act, and he played the part phenomenally well and really made the film.
Hell I don't even like Batman.
