The speed of light is 299,792,458 km/sec. Intelligent life still obey the laws of physics. It would in all likelihood take them hundreds of years to even get here if they were to travel anywhere near that speed. Not to mention, even if you do manage to travel near the speed of light, you actually slow down in time. You are essentially time traveling into the future. Perhaps to a destination no longer in existence.

Consider this for a moment.
Our galaxy holds within it 200 or 300 billion stars. Many of which have several planets around that star. Some have less than us in their systems, some have significantly more. This is all but ONE galaxy. Imagine if you can the sheer incomprehensible size of the universe in its entirety. Seemingly infinite(Though it has to be a finite) number of galaxies floating around out there. Hundreds upon hundreds of billions of them. Mathematically speaking, it is IMPOSSIBLE... literally... for us to be the only intelligent life out there.
I ask you not to marry your belief's. Read some books on the subject. I recommend reading anything by Stephen Hawking.
I believe that there has to be life out there somewhere. There is no way that our planet is the only planet that can support life in our galaxy. If you believe otherwise then you are close minded in need of deprogramming.

Life exists perhaps in other universe. But visiting us? No, I don't think so. We're not that important anyway to be visited by them. LOL
When I gave this thread a quick scan through, I noticed that the topic of alien life has come up; why? A UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object, which does not necessarily mean it's a flying saucer from another planet. I'm almost certain that alien life does exist but I don't think they fly around the sky at night mutilating cattle and probing people.Quote:
